The Chargers Released A Money Tweet In Response To A Rumor They’re Moving To London

I know eight people who purchased Chargers season tickets for 2020, and that means I might know 100 percent of the Chargers fanbase.

Given that there are so few Chargers fans in the Los Angeles area, The Athletic recently ran a story suggesting the Chargers were going to be the NFL team that relocates to London. To say Chargers owner Dean Spanos wasn’t too thrilled with the story would be a bigger understatement than me saying I’d like to hold Kate Upton’s hand, as everybody knows I would eat a pistachio out of her poop chute, and I hate pistachios.

“It’s total fucking bullshit,” Spanos said. “We’re not going to London. We’re not going anywhere. We’re playing in Los Angeles. This is our home, and this is where we are planning to be for a long fucking time. Period.”

The team then followed up Spanos’ rant with this money tweet:

The goal after tweeting that clip? You guessed it – to have more fans than Philip Rivers does children by this weekend…
