This Radio Guy Thinks Reggie White Should Do The Eagles’ Pregame Speech But That’ll Be Tough Since He’s Dead

by Tommy Gimler

Great call, dude. And maybe Jerome Brown can drive the team bus to the stadium.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson tabbed Packers legend Brett Favre to speak to his players Saturday night before the biggest game of their lives. Despite the fact that Pederson and Favre were teammates for seven years, there are some in the sports world who think Pederson should have come up with somebody else more relevant to the Eagles franchise to give that speech.

One of those people is Boston sports radio host Tony Massarotti. Who does Massarotti think should give the speech instead of Favre? Yup, you guessed it: Reggie White. Of course, that’s going to be pretty tough considering the fact that White no longer has a pulse after leaving this world way too early at the age of 43 in 2004.

Oops, Suzie.

No word on whether or not he would rather see Prince performing at halftime instead of Justin Timberlake, but we’ll see if our intern can get that answer.

Actually, if you’ve never given Massarotti’s show a listen, do yourself a favor and do so. He’s one of the funniest guys in the sports radio world, and this was obviously just a massive oversight that he’s no doubt kicking himself over…
