Man, people still love Ronald Reagan.

Doug Jones edged out accused underage-pussy chaser Roy Moore in the recent Alabama Senate election, but if you’re looking for anything more on that story, you’re in the wrong fucking place.

We’re here to talk about the 671 write-in votes from that election, and that alone is amazing when you consider the fact that 87 percent of the population in Alabama is illiterate. However, of those 671 write-in votes, eight of them were for Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban.

Roll damn Tide, baby.

Who else received write-in votes from Alabama’s finest? You guessed it – Bozo the Clown, Ronald Reagan, Phil from Duck Dynasty, Bugs Bunny, Mr. Magoo and others. Phil actually had four people write in his name on the ballot while Bozo took home two write-in nods.

Well, it turns out that Young Boozer is actually somebody’s real name, and the dude has been the State Treasurer of Alabama since November 2010. Hey, the more you know…
