There is no way around it, White Sox fans: Your team is going to suck balls this year. But at least you can find solace in knowing that one of the dudes you received from the Red Sox in exchange for Chris Sale can hurl the ball 110 miles per hour.

Of course, a real baseball weighs somewhere between 5 and 5 1/4 ounces and this was just one of those three-ounce blue balls (haha) used during what Michael Kopech called “max effort throws,” but still, 110 MPH is nothing to scoff at. Plus, the fact that he’s flipping off his teammate immediately after hitting 110 on the gun means he’s going to fit in nicely on the South Side.

I mean, he’d really fit in if he pulled out a knife or gat and had at least three felonies on his record, but hey, baby steps…
