by Tommy Gimler, Barry Murphy, and Mandatory’s Gary Dudak

We get together for a podcast almost as often as Melissa McCarthy sheds a few pounds, so when we actually take the time to gather around the kitchen table with a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label and 18 retro cans of Miller Lite and talk some shop, you know it’s going to be a winner.

Barry Murphy and Gary Dudak both love the NBA. Tommy Gimler thinks it’s almost as fixed as his wife’s purse dog. The three of them all agree that the Miami Heat are going to curb stomp every opponent they face in the 2014 NBA Playoffs, so then is it even worth setting aside three or four hours a night to watch any of these games?

Actually, except for the Raptors-Nets series, the answer is yes, and the boys discuss why that’s the case. Click on the link below…

DUDcast NBA Playoffs

Here are just some of the highlights:

2:00 mark: The DUD’s resident degenerate Barry Murphy talks about how his 17 NBA futures actually paid off this year…

15:00 mark: Apparently you still can’t have a discussion about the Los Angeles Lakers without mentioning that whole “Kobe Bryant raped a broad” thing…

30:00 mark: There is absolutely no reason to watch the Raptors-Nets series and Gimler thinks DeMar DeRozen’s first name is really Carlos…

45:00 mark: In fact, there is no reason to watch any Eastern Conference season…

53:00 mark: Nobody knows how to spell Kawhi Leonard, and Gimler thinks he’s an NFL prospect instead of an NBA player…

64:40 mark: Who will be the first player in the NBA Playoffs to get arrested?

73:20 mark: The DUDcast ends as the guys discuss which players could potentially be the first to come out of the closet during the NBA postseason…

I really enjoy the opening AC/DC. I have listened to the entire hour and 17 minutes of this three times simply because once I hear that opening rock, I can’t stop.
